Barbara was originally born into a family of what would eventually become a family of eight aka the Mills! After schooling and working she met my dad (Stephen Blanks) and went on to have two beautiful children: myself (Leanne) and my younger sister (Becky). After 12 years together Barbara and Steve went their seperate ways and Barbara went on to meet Peter Clark in New Zealand. She eventually moved to live with Peter in NZ, where they married in a beautiful house by the famous Lake Taupo. Barbara worked hard within her job as a team leader for a governing investment company in the city as well as studying for her degree in business. It was around the end of this degree that Barbara became ill, and was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer in June 2006. Barbara bravely chose to fight the disease and went through gruelling sessions of chemotherpy as well as two major operations. Just when things were starting to look up, at Christmas Barbara fell ill again and on the night of 28th December 2006 (29th for those in Nz), she passed away in the comfort of her own home.
